Matrix

DialoX bots can be used on the federated Matrix protocol.

Installation

To connect to Matrix, you need a matrix account on a matrix server for the bot that can be signed in with a username/password combination. Enter the server URL, user name and password.

Behaviour

To start chatting with a bot, invite it into a room, either a private or a public one. The bot will auto-joins each room it is invited into.

The user that the bot invites into the room becomes the 'main' user for the bot in the CRM.

The bot has currently no concepts of the multiple participants in the room; it will respond to each message that any user says (ignoring of course messages sent by itself and other bots).
